Summary

Every auction begins with an auction price of $0.00 and begins counting down in fourty-eight hours. If an user place a bid in an auction, the following will happen simultaneously. First, the auction price will increase by the designated price increment. Second, the timer will increase to the designated time increment threshold. Third, the user will become the “High Bidder” of the auction. If you are the current “High Bidder” of an auction, and another user places a new bid, you will lose the position as the “High Bidder”. When the timer runs down to zero and if you are the High Bidder, you have won the auction! You will then have the opportunity to purchase the auction product at the ending auction price.

Each bid costs $0.60.

    I joined this site and purchased a few bidpacks , so far I haven't won anything. One major drawback to this site is that all the same people win all the time , they win all the bidpacks and then use those to take all the auction items. They are aided further by the use of "bidbots" that do their bidding for them. The only advantage that you have in being a live bidder is that they randomly award from 1 to 5 free bids to a live bidder who has just placed a bid , if you use the "bidbot" you aren't eligible for the free random bids. I was enticed by the expensive giftcards , for example $500 or $1,000 Visa cards and likewise for Amex cards. They also offer top of the line computers , both laptop and desktop , but once again , the same people win over and over again. The same for the other big ticket items. I have found that the use of "bidbots" really drags out the bidding , because some people who choose to use them don't have to sit there and those who are live bidders can only last so long. I don't know what their rules are for this week , they have made changes a few times int the short period I've been a member , but the site would be great if they limit both the number of wins per week and also included in that the number of wins for bidpacks. That would be a much fairer way to give everybody a chance to win something. Looking at the pro's and cons of using "bidbots" my personal opinion is they aren't good for the business or a particular website. When you have a situation where the same people win over and over again it gets very discouraging and will drive away your client base , the use of "bidbots" only helps to drive them away. The merchandise on this site is fantastic and the only changes I would make aside from banning "bidbots" and limiting wins would be to expand the site to add a new item every 15 minutes and auction around the clock 24 / 7. Let's see what the future holds , give them a look anyway.

    I found this penny auction some time ago, and I have never lost so much money on o e penny auction site alone. I useually don't take the time to write reviews for sites, but I have no problem writting a out this one. Save your hard earned cash for a better auction site is my advise.
